Tokens are used to unlock new puzzles from the Map View screen.
On this screen you will see a grid of red, green a blue tiles containing padlock icons. Each of these tiles represents a separate tile layout, or level. Tapping on a locked tile will display a preview of the puzzle and will allow you to spend tokens to unlock it.
When you unlock a puzzle, it will remain unlocked until you have completed it. Once you have completed a puzzle, it will appear on the map view as a large gold star. Selecting it will allow you to view picture and the solution, or Replay the puzzle again for a small coin cost.
The number of tokens you have available is listed below the green token icon in the status bar at the top of the screen.
