Clueless puzzles are a variation on standard Crosswords. For each word, the clue is hidden, but the (scrambled) letters that make up the word are shown. Unscramble all the words to solve the grid!

Tap an empty square on the grid to select a word, then use the keypad below the grid to enter the letters of your answer. You can erase letters by tapping on their grid squares. Correct answers become 'locked' so you can't delete or edit them accidentally.

In some cases, it will be possible to make multiple valid dictionary words from the provided letters. Only the specific answer word the puzzle is looking for will be accepted - if your word isn't the correct one, the squares will be marked in red.

You can then tap the marked letters to remove them from the grid. Alternatively, selecting (tapping) a different empty word on the grid will automatically remove all marked incorrect letters from the grid.

 

 

If you're stuck on a Clueless puzzle, you can use coins to buy hints.

Hints can be used by tapping on the relevant icon in the status bar area.

The cost (in coins) to use each hint is printed under its icon.

■ Reveal Next Letter

Use this hint to automatically fill in the next letter in the currently selected
clue. You can use this as many times as you like (provided you have enough coins).

■ Give Me A Clue!

Use this hint to reveal the regular crossword clue for the currently selected word. Clues revealed using this option will remain visible each time you select that word until the puzzle has been completed. You will still need to determine the correct answer to the clue.
