You can convert your extra coins into keys. These keys can then be used to unlock puzzles in the Themed Issues.

Tap the coin meter at the top of the screen to open the store and convert coins into keys.

Subscribers also receive 5 keys each day as part of the subscription, and may receive more through in-game rewards.
